In metaphysics, all of the physical properties of crystals have counterparts in the mental, or psychic, world.

2. Transformation - Crystals purify and transform the molecular composition in the atmosphere around them

Crystals have certain physical properties - that of the quartz crystal is called piezo electric. Silicon combines with water to become silicon dioxide or quartz crystal. Quartz amplifies, transforms, stores, focuses and transfers energy.  If squeezed it generates electricity.  This is the perfect "all purpose" crystal for meditation and healing which can neutralize negativity and create a positive energy shield around you or our home.

These pieces have no mineral traces or inclusions. The single points are obtained my the breakage of individual points from a large cluster. The cabachons are tumbled and polished while the points are natural.

Rose Quartz (top left) 
This is often called the 'love stone'. It is associated with forgiveness and compassion and can create a wonderful calming influence. It is soft and delicate inspiring feelings of love and friendship. Rose quartz is aid to help remove repressed anger and hatred and is said to remove negative influences such as jealousy and avarice. Rose quartz is the stone of universal love and has a gentle vibration. Hematite (top center) 
Hematite is a calming stone. It is a great grounding and protection stone. It helps dissolve negativity and transforms the negative energy into universal love. It not only grounds and protects you, but it will bounce back any negative energy sent at you back to the sender.   Hematite can help clear your mind; sort things out. It can help you "tune up" your intellect--making your memory better, helping your thinking processes, and even help you with technical knowledge. It balances the physical, intellectual, and spiritual you. 

Carnelian (top right)
Carnelian is a stone of protection and guards you against envy, fear, and rage as well. Carnelian brings inspiration to you from the spiritual world. Carnelian is an excellent stone to use to cleanse other stones. When kept together with other gems it will cleanse them of any negative energy they may pick up while clearing the environment. 

Mugglestone (bottom left) 
Mugglestone is a combination stone--Red Jasper and Hematite. Both provide very good protection and grounding. In spite of its color, Red Jasper is extremely grounding and protecting. It can help provide rescue if you are in danger. Red Jasper can also be used in meditation to see how to rectify any unjust circumstances in your life. The metaphysical properties of the Red Jasper in this stone are amplified by being combined with the Hematite.

Apache Tear (bottom right) 
Obsidian is a type of volcanic glass that forms when lava rich in silica (Quartz) comes into contact with water and is cooled quickly, Obsidian nuggets that have been naturally rounded and polished by wind and water are known as 'Apache Tears'. Apache Tear Obsidian got its name from the legend is dark volcanic glass formed when the tears of dispossessed and persecuted Apache people hit the dry earth. All forms of Obsidian are used for protection. A particularly effective way to cleanse is to use an Apache Tear gem elixir. 

Obsidian Arrowheads

Because of its volcanic origins, Obsidian is strongly connected to the power of elemental Earth and Fire. It is an excellent stone for drawing Earth energy if you feel tired or depleted, and also for grounding excess energy if you feel anxious. Obsidian is said to be especially useful for people who have to endure an unpleasant atmosphere. It is believed to help shield you from unhealthy energetic noise, electromagnetic pollution and background electricity.
